Matt Locke – President
Matt, as the President of Locke Homes, leads the preeminent real estate development company in the Shreveport-Bossier area. A second-generation builder and a veteran of more than two decades of fine home building, Locke has led efforts to create many distinct and recognizable communities in Shreveport-Bossier City. Those communities total over 3500 homes combined. As a 1984 graduate of LSUS, Matt takes pride in his community roots and celebrates ways to give back. He supports the LSUS Alumni Association, has made countless contributions to local non-profit organizations, and is a long-standing member of the Military Affairs Council. Matt is also a former Board Member of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. He spends most of his leisure time with his family, supporting LSU football and boating on the Red River.
Amy Griffith – Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Amy manages all sales and marketing for Locke Homes. With over 11 years at Locke Homes, she has served in many roles and is a vital part of the team’s success. Amy grew up in Shreveport and then attended both Louisiana Tech and Louisiana State University in Shreveport . She is the proud parent of three beautiful children and one grandson. Amy enjoys scrapbooking, cheering for the LSU Fighting Tigers and gardening.
Michelle Pennington – Executive Administrative Assistant
Michelle is part of the sales team and acts as a valuable support to the Sales Manager, as well as the Sales Associates. She is actively involved in the sales process with the homeowners from contract to closing, including decorating and the Formal Presentation. Michelle is available to answer any needs or concerns before, during, or after the purchase of your brand new home. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Michelle is a big LSU Tigers fan and enjoys working out, interior design, and her adorable maltese, Sophie.
John Watson – Sales Agent
John is the primary sales agent for Locke Homes and Locke Properties at The Haven on the River. He works closely with each homeowner during the entire sales process. John is available daily in our beautiful model home and also weekends during our open houses. John enjoys spending time with his children and his grandson but also enjoys his time on the golf course. He loves cheering on the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints!
