Matt Locke

Matt, as the President of Locke Homes, leads the preeminent real estate development company in the Shreveport-Bossier area. A second-generation builder and a veteran of more than three decades of fine home building, Locke has led efforts to create many distinct and recognizable communities in Shreveport-Bossier City. Those communities total over 3500 homes combined. As a 1984 graduate of LSUS, Matt takes pride in his community roots and celebrates ways to give back. He supports the LSUS Alumni Association, has made countless contributions to local non-profit organizations, and is a long-standing member of the Military Affairs Council. Matt is a Board Member of Bossier Chamber of Commerce and also a former Board Member of the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. He spends most of his leisure time with his family, supporting LSU football and boating on the Red River.

Deneé Locke

Owner of Closets In Order, Inc.

Deneé has 25 years of experience in the residential construction business working closely alongside her husband, Matt Locke, President of Locke Homes.  This experience has allowed her to see, first hand, that attention to storage and organization can improve the appearance of the main areas of a home.  She founded Closets In Order in 2003 as a result of her passion for organization and knowledge that the closet is typically the most neglected room in the home when it comes to design detail.  She takes pride in working with customers to utilize her experience and training to create functionally beautiful storage areas.

Deneé is a member of the Home Builders Association of Northwest LA, The Women’s Philanthropy Group and is the Caddo Parish School Board Representative for District 8. Deneé also puts herself to work on other causes near and dear to her heart through organizations such as Providence House, where she served on the board for 2 terms and the maximum of 6 years.  She served in many capacities including President of the Board.  Her heart for service translates effortlessly into the foundation of her business.

She enjoys spending time with her family when she is lucky enough to have all of them in the same city at the same time!  In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, practicing Yoga, playing with her granddaughter, and boating on the Red River with her husband, Matt.
